Ms. Deborah Walters
Mrs. Walters began her career in education in 2002. She is committed to empowering youth to make healthy and safe choices that will enhance the overall health and well-being of themselves and others. Mrs. Walters received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Hope College and a Master's Degree from Touro College in School Leadership. Additionally, Mrs. Walters has received training by the NYC Department of Education Office of School Wellness Program as a CAP (Condom Availability Program) provider. She has also been trained through the NYCDOE’s Out for SAFE Schools Program to maintain Safe Spaces for LGBTQ+ youth, and recently received her Yoga Teacher and SEL Facilitator Certification. She serves as the GSA advisor and the Student Wellness Council advisor.
