Student Support Services
Port Richmond High School’s Peer Mediation Center is open to students daily, and is a place where students can come together to discuss a disagreement respectfully. Alongside trained student mediators, students can discuss their conflicts in a confidential space, and receive assistance in coming to an acceptable solution. Students in the program are extensively trained in conflict and mediation skills, and have become a valuable resource for other students in the school. Students enrolled in the course will receive one elective credit per term. If you are interested in enrolling in peer mediation, please reach out to Ms. Scarsella (mscarsella@schools.nyc.gov, room B424) or fill out the google form. |
